What are Small Groups about?
Small groups have always been a part of our Methodist heritage, for the nurturing and continual spiritual growth of the church. It is through Small Groups that we can reach the most people in the most meaningful way as well as to enable us to provide all the essential elements for caring, spiritual growth and witnessing. Through the Small Groups Ministry we make disciples, identify leaders and give people the relationship and accountability they need.
Through the Small Groups Ministry we can have a church that accomplishes Christ’s Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
What do we do at Small Group Meetings?
A typical small group in TMCPJ meets at least once a fortnight in a home and each meeting takes approximately 1.5 hours, comprising segments of worship, word, prayer and fellowship.
